Message from Sue Rivers, Diocesan President
My heart is filled with gratitude as I reflect on the past six incredible years serving as your President of the Llandaff Diocese Mothers’ Union. It has been a journey of faith, fellowship, and service, and I am profoundly thankful for the unwavering support and encouragement I have received from so many of you. I would especially like to thank all who contributed to my gift, it is a remarkable amount and I am truly humbled by your generosity.
First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to you, our members. You are the beating heart of the Mothers’ Union, living out our mission to strengthen families and communities in love and faith. Your dedication, generosity, and willingness to embrace challenges have been nothing short of inspirational. It has been a privilege to work alongside you and witness the light you bring into the lives of others.
The Trustee Boards over both trienniums, have provided me with steadfast support and guidance. Their wisdom and vision have been a source of strength for me, and their tireless efforts hve ensured that we have remained true to our purpose while moving forward with boldness and hope.
As I prepare to pass the baton to the next Diocesan President, Jean Starr, I do so with confidence and hope for the future. I believe the best days of the Llandaff Diocese Mothers’ Union lie ahead. We are a community of faith, courage, and compassion, and I have no doubt that you will continue to grow, serve, and inspire in remarkable ways.
Let us keep our eyes fixed on the One who calls us to this work, trusting that God will guide and bless all that we do. Thank you for the honour and privilege of serving you these past six years. I wish you every blessing for the future. Diolch o galon.
May God fill your life with love, joy, and peace this Christmas and throughout the New Year
With love
Sue Rivers
Diocesan President
