16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM AGAINST GENDER BASED VIOLENCE SERVICE.

Llandaff Diocese Mothers’ Union held a service at Christchurch, Heol Isaf, Radyr on Monday 25th November, to mark the start of the Mothers’ Union Campaign of 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence. A beautiful service was conducted by Revd. Vicky Burrows, Vicar of Radyr and attended by MU members. The service was followed with light refreshments and good fellowship. Our thanks to Nicky Webber for organising this superb service.
The16 Days of Activism is an international campaign which takes place each year from 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) until 10 December (International Human Rights Day).Mothers’ Union campaigns around the world, through our 4 million members in 84 countries, for an end to gender-based violence – violence carried out most often against women and girls because of their gender.
