Raye Saunders, Marketing Unit Coordinator and Sheila Jones, Diocesan Treasurer were interviewed on Rhondda Radio at the end of November. The programme focussed on how Mothers’ Union is making a difference in the local community and highlighted the range of projects undertaken by members of Mothers’ Union in the Rhondda. They described examples of carrying out Christ’s work through Mothers’ Union such as supporting local charities- Valleys Kids, visiting residential homes and many other projects at Christmas and throughout the year.
Details were given of local branch meetings and how people can get in contact and join Mothers’ Union.
Ray and Sheila also gave an account of how Mothers’ Union works in the Diocese of Llandaff, in the United Kingdom and internationally. They gave wonderful accounts of our work and provided very interesting listening. Well done – a career beckons for you both!
