£1,000 could make a real difference to the work Llandaff Mothers’ Union does in supporting children and families in our communities. Healing and rebuilding relationships by supporting families who were already disadvantaged, those who have lost jobs, affected by the recent floods, or have suffered bereavement.

Our Away From It All caravan in Porthcawl, provides much needed breaks for children and families who have met with adversity, who are vulnerable and may have been pushed further into poverty because of the COVID-19 virus. Our other projects including our prison work which supports families by providing a play area for children during visiting times have been affected greatly during the pandemic.

Your nomination could be the one that helps us win. If we did win, we would be able to address the needs of families in the community by providing additional weeks in our caravan and supporting families during prison visiting times.
